Media Program
WSGR 91.3fm and
WCLG 1490am are student-operated stations that service the St. Clair County
Community College campus and surrounding Blue Water Area. Both stations are non-profit
and located at 323 Erie Street in Port Huron, Michigan. Students enrolled in
CM106A, CM106B, CM106C, and/or CM106D are the main source of staff; the
remainder consists of those seeking an Associates Degree in Broadcasting
Communications and members of the Radio Club.
Course
Description for CM106A-D
I.
This course
is designed to provide students the opportunity to learn radio station
operation. This will be accomplished by providing on-the-air experience on the
college radio stations, WSGR and WCLG. The student will work at least 3 hours
per week per CM106.
